We are very excited to announce that our report on the current status of the UK's behavioural research capability is now available to read online. BR-UK's capability scoping and building research activities are led by Professor Jo Hart, Dr Nia Coupe and Dr Jo Davan Wetton (Hale). A key output from the research so far has been the BR-UK Behavioural Research Map that highlights organisations where at least one person who works on behavioural research projects (of any kind) as part of a UK-based role. We now add this new report to the list of outputs you must connect with if you are interested in advancing the use of behavioural research in the UK. Prepared by our capability leads with Dr Niamh Hart, Dr Sharon Cox, Dr Rosie Webster, Dr Guanyu Yang and Maria Fomina, this report draws on the multiple approaches the team used including national mapping, strategic document analysis, stakeholder surveys, and expert workshops. It identifies both the existing strengths and persistent barriers within the behavioural research ecosystem and outlines future national priorities for the next three years.
