This new digital performance by Glasgow-based Claricia Parinussa was developed through collaborative discussions and reflections on queer health, bodies, genders, sexualities, race and social justice with artists, activists, and academics. The performance will be available online throughout the festival via the Capturing Chronic Illness website.

This performance forms part of a larger body of work in conversation with and building on Dr Donna McCormack’s (Strathclyde) project Transplant Imaginaries. In addition, it was developed in collaboration with Dr Donna McCormack and Dr Ingrid Young (Edinburgh) as part of their medical humanities project on chronic illness and arts-based methods.

This performance piece will be available to view digitally throughout the festival through the Capturing Chronic Illness website and in partnership with the Centre for Contemporary Arts, Glasgow. The Capturing Chronic Illness panel discussion on 20 November at 2pm will discuss this piece with artist Claricia Parinussa.
