Students Fight HIV Stigma - Exhibition and Showcase

What do you know about HIV? Do you think HIV stigma is a thing of the past? Would you like to learn more about HIV but not sure where to start?

Psychology students at Castlebrae Community High School and George Watson College have recently been learning about HIV from the 1980s to the present day. They have designed and created posters to educate, inform and tackle HIV stigma and discrimination.

Come and visit this exhibition where posters will be on display from Friday 8 November to Friday 22 November at Craigmiller Library, during opening hours (Monday-Wednesday 10-8pm, Thursday-Saturday 10pm-5pm Sunday Closed). The exhibition is free and does not require booking.

On Saturday 9 November a special showcase will take place from 12 - 2pm to explore the inspiration behind the posters, booking is required for this free event.

This event is part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science 2024 and was made possible thanks to funding from the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), which is part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).
