Applications are now sought to appoint the third ACRC Fellow to support the ACRC's strategic goal. The third Fellow will be based in the School of Informatics and lead a research programme focusing on health and social care technologies as applied to care in later life, or multimorbidity or healthy ageing.Two Fellows are already in place:Dr Jean Stafford was announced in January, and her fellowship will investigate the interface between physical and mental health, and the role of the social environment in healthy ageing.She was joined in March by Dr Stella Arakelyan, whose fellowship focusses on informal carers, and improving the care experiences and outcomes for carer-care recipients living with multiple long-term conditions in later life.Dr Arakelyan already worked within the ACRC, but this new role allows her to expand her research.You can find out more about our two Fellows, and their research, here.All three ACRC fellows are expected to further the ACRC’s strategic goals, with each developing an innovative new programme around healthy ageing.If you are an Early-Career Researcher interested in healthy ageing, and would like to become an ACRC Fellow, the job advert is live, and applications close on the 18th July.
