PGR VOICES: Growing

Fadila Wirawan is joined by an unlikely collaborator on her PhD journey.

by Fadila Wirawan | PhD student

When I started my PhD, I expected challenges and plenty of learning - but I never imagined I’d also be welcoming my little collaborator along the way.

I am so happy to announce the arrival of baby Asma Aisha Simatupang, my newest research assistant!

Now I'm balancing work and baby cuddles - proving that both academic and personal growth can happen at the same time. I'm grateful for the love and support from friends, family, and colleagues who’ve cheered me on throughout this journey.

Here’s to a future filled with discoveries - both in research and motherhood!
