Our approach

Based in the Centre for Medical Informatics at The University of Edinburgh's Usher Institute, we work closely with partners to drive data-led improvements in health and care across Scotland.

Using a collective impact model, we connect clinical teams, data experts, researchers, patients, industry partners, and policymakers across the digital health and care landscape. Our core interdisciplinary team provides the coordination and support needed to keep these collaborations focused, effective, and sustainable.

This structured, cross-sector approach helps align technical capabilities with clinical needs, operational realities, and policy goals - ensuring that innovation translates into meaningful improvements in health outcomes and delivers tangible value for patients, healthcare professionals, and the NHS.
