About the study

I want to find out what people who find it hard to understand health information know about asthma and how they look after their condition.

 

Approximately 2 out of 3 people with asthma in Malaysia find it hard to understand health information about asthma. This may affect how they look after their condition and how much trouble they have with their asthma symptoms.

In this study I want to find out what people who find it hard to understand health information know about asthma and how they look after their condition.

Different people have different ways of looking after their asthma and I’m interested to hear about what you do. Taking part will help me understand how you live with asthma and care for asthma on a day to day basis – and what would help you in the future.

I will use what you tell me to develop ways to help doctors and nurses in Malaysia to better support people with asthma to look after their asthma.

For this study, I need the help of between 20 to 30 people.
