BR-UK Training: Knowledge Mobilisation

The course supports you to think critically about how knowledge is produced, shared, interpreted, and taken up across policy, practice, community, and academic settings, and the implications of knowledge mobilisation for achieving societal change.

Across two interactive sessions, you will explore different approaches to knowledge mobilisation, including everyday practices, relational ways of working, and context-sensitive strategies. The training is practice-oriented, and you will be able to discuss your own research ideas or projects to identify opportunities for knowledge mobilisation, recognise leverage points for change, and respond to the barriers and enablers that shape how knowledge travels and is used. The course will include reflective discussions, peer learning, and practical activities.

By the end of the course, you will be able to:

  1. Identify and apply different strategies for knowledge mobilisation.
  2. Draw on practical skills to plan and carry out knowledge mobilisation activities.
  3. Analyse the contextual barriers and enablers to knowledge mobilisation in policy, practice, community, and academic settings.

The second session will take place on 24th June 2026 at 1pm.

Please note that AI Notetakers are not permitted in this training session.

This training will be capped at 40 participants. By registering you commit to attend both training days.
