University of Edinburgh MBChB Programme Year 2 - Data Science in Medicine Data science enhancement of existing Year 2 courses for medical students, to include among other topics: data ethics artificial intelligence introduction to coding Year 3 - Bachelor in Medical Sciences (BMedSci) - Data science for healthcare A new one-year intercalated honours programme will be offered in Year 3 to MBChB students wish to expand their knowledge and potentially pursue a career in this area, commencing in September 2023. This flexible and highly innovative programme will provide students with the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to transform the health and wellbeing of citizens through the proper use of data.
