ACRC and AGE-WELL partnership funds innovative new projects

Four transatlantic projects given the green light.

Four projects, on a variety of topics around ageing and health, have shared a funding pot of C$100,000. 

The "Innovation through Future Care Approaches in Healthy Aging” call aims to establish collaborative projects between researchers involved in AGE-WELL and ACRC. The long-term objective of these joint initiatives is to create sustainable outcomes and foster collaborations that evolve into scalable partnerships.

For a project to be successful it needed to address a challenge around ageing and health, and have joint primary investigators from the ACRC and a Canadian partner university under the AGE-WELL Network. There were a number of proposals on the shortlist, but these four just pipped an incredibly high-quality field:

 

  • AI in Dementia Care: Challenges and Opportunities
