Join us for a panel discussion bringing together women from a wide range of healthcare data science backgrounds to share their experiences and cutting-edge work. The event aims to inspire and encourage collaboration across the University and beyond and to support opportunities for women in healthcare data science. The event will be of interest to anyone working in healthcare data science - and we hope to see a diverse range of people coming along. Come and hear from, and be inspired by, these exceptional women: Julie Jacko, Co-Head of the Centre for Medical Informatics, Usher Institute Charlotte Lee-Sinclair, Head of Commercial, Limbic Riinu Pius, Senior Data Manager for the Surgical Informatics Research Group, Usher Institute Kirsty Ward, National Clinical Coordinator for the Scottish Hip Fracture Audit, Public Health Scotland It takes place on the 11th October, from 4pm - 6pm, in person at Adam House Basement Lecture Theatre on Chambers Street, and online. The panel will be facilitated by Dr Rose Penfold and Dr Clare MacRae, medical doctors undertaking data-driven PhDs at the ACRC. Both Rose and Clare are excited to be working in the field of healthcare data and are passionate about creating further opportunities for women in data science.
