Academy students who helped organise the Student Conference in April were thanked for their efforts with a night out at the Fringe. Rachel Thomsen sets the scene... Academy students Amir MIresmaili, Deniz Hepdogan, Szu-Chia Huang, Lizzie Stansfield, Rachel Thomsen, Sam Andres and Misty Wilcox wait in anticipation for 2Flamenco Amidst the chaos of this year’s Edinburgh Fringe, some ACRC folk made our way down to the moody-lit basement of the Argyle Bar to watch the incredible 2Flamenco. A husband and wife duo from Southern Spain took to the stage, lighting up the room with dance, song, humour, and ‘duende’ - described as the soul of flamenco itself. We were captivated by their brilliant and energetic performance, which left the whole room buzzing.
