BR-UK Methods Seminar Series: Systematic Reviews and Beyond: How Evidence Synthesis Is Evolving Systematic reviews have long been positioned as the gold standard for evidence-informed decision making. Yet, they are frequently documented to be lacking in rigour, transparency, inclusivity and objectivity. This webinar brings together complementary perspectives on the evolution of evidence synthesis and review typologies, from living systematic reviews to innovative methods for qualitative evidence synthesis, and realist approaches. The panel will explore how more bespoke, question-led synthesis approaches can offer greater explanatory value and provide rigorous methods for relevant questions.
