December 2024

The contents of the winter newsletter includes the latest updates and news from the BR-UK Hub including:  

  • Links to the paper launching the Behavioural and Social Sciences Ontology (BSSO), a new community of practice for behavioural researchers working with ontologies.
  • BR-UK in collaboration with Professor John Drury, Professor Clifford Stott and others, is conducting a mixed-methods study that aims to understand the processes and impacts of the 2024 riots in England. The protocol for this study is available on OSF
  • Dr Sharon Cox joins the Board of Trustees of the Society for the Study of Addictions.
  • Links to our latest blogs describing the work of two particular studies within the Hub. One addressing the importance of communicating evidence for policy change and the other on behavioural interventions to reduce driver speeds

In this inaugural newsletter we provided a brief explanation of who we are and what we aim to achieve through our funding from ESRC. This included sections on:
