A website to support recovery after intensive care http://www.criticalcarerecovery.com/ Based on over a hundred interviews, the website was developed in partnership with former patients, their family members, health care professionals and Shaw Design, a Scottish Digital Design company. It was then introduced to patients and families in NHS Lothian, who have been using it over the last year. We will share what we have learned from developing and evaluating this innovative project and invite you to discuss how it can be used to support recovery after critical illness for patients and families all across Scotland. Development was funded by the Scottish Intensive Care Society and the website was evaluated by patients and family members as part of the Health Foundation's Innovating for Improvement programme.
