Background

In her 20s, Chynara packed her bags, waved goodbye to home and set off to fulfil her childhood dream of exploring the world.  Her first stop was Germany, where she studied International Business Administration.  After graduating, life brought her to Scotland, where she embraced full-time motherhood life.

Juggling trips to the NHS with her children, she was both grateful for and inspired by the care she received.  So much so that she decided to dedicate her next chapter to the NHS.  Once children were in school, she headed back to the classroom, to study nursing at Napier University.  Her first nursing role was in the ICU, where she spent a whirlwind year diving headfirst into critical care.  Soon after, she ventured into research with a 9-month secondment, discovering a whole new side of healthcare.

Now, balancing her two passions, she’s excited for what lies ahead and firmly believes this is just the beginning of an incredible journey.
