Assessment and management of delirium and Outcomes of delirium 26 June 2019 Alasdair Maclullich: Assessment and management of delirium: highlights from the 2019 SIGN Guidelines Alasdair MacLullich’s main research interests are in the assessment and management of delirium, and he also works on blood, CSF and neuroimaging biomarkers of delirium. He is the main author of the 4AT delirium assessment tool. He co-chaired the SIGN Guidelines Group which produced the ‘Risk Reduction and Management of Delirium’ guideline, published in March 2019. Atul Anand: Outcomes of delirium: findings from consecutive hospital admissions in Lothian Atul Anand’s research focusses on establishing markers of frailty from electronic health record data and he is currently developing and testing tools to do this in Lothian. He has also worked on cluster randomised controlled trials delivered using electronic health record methodology in cardiovascular medicine. All are welcome.
