Nazir Lone awarded Intensive Care Foundation Research Gold Medal

Nazir Lone has been awarded the Intensive Care Foundation Research Gold Medal for his research entitled 'Long term mortality and major health care resource use following admission to Scottish ICUs.

The Medal is awarded annually to a new investigator who has 'shown excellence in science relevant to intensive care practice so that their work is more widely appreciated'.

This work was undertaken as part of his PhD Fellowship funded by the Chief Scientist Office for Scotland and supervised by Prof Gordon Murray, Prof Tim Walsh, Prof Sarah Wild and Prof Kathy Rowan.
