Joint NRS Anaesthesia, Perioperative and Critical Care and SICSAG Conference Day 1 : Anaesthesia, Perioperative and Critical Care ResearchDay 2 : Scottish Intensive Care Society Audit Group (SICSAG)On the first day (Wednesday 1 October) we will have speakers describing all aspects of Anaesthetic, Perioperative Medicine and Critical Care research including updates from trainee research networks, trial updates, new trial proposals and results from research conceived and completed in Scotland. Highlights include Dr Tom Abbott (Queen Mary’s University London) talking about Platform Trials in Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine, and Dr Gareth Kitchen (University of Manchester) talking about the Confederation of Respiratory Critical Care Trials. On the SICSAG day (Thursday 2 October), we will bring together multidisciplinary colleagues from across Scotland and beyond to share ideas, knowledge and practical examples of work that has driven improvements in the quality of care for critical care patients. We also encourage ap plications to the SICSAG Quality Improvement Award 2025, the winner of which will be an nounced at the conference. There will be a dinner on the night of October 1, along with a competitive accommodation pack age at the Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel.
