Creating a UK Colorectal Cancer Intelligence Hub The overall aim of the CORECT-R project is to quantify the characteristics of, and any variation in, colorectal cancer and its management. The purpose is to identify the opportunities to impact on care to improve outcomes across the UK and provide evidence to guide interventions that will minimise inequalities and improve survival. The University of Edinburgh will provide leadership in the health economics of bowel cancer and the use of NHS datasets for analysing both costs and clinical pathways.
