ECTU has an experienced team who provide a range of data management services and enable the creation of systems that provide a successful infrastructure for research projects. The aim is to produce the highest quality of data possible. We support the full life-cycle of the project from design through data collection and cleaning to archiving of the dataset. We can provide the following services: CRF Design - CRFs designed from protocol. CRFs reviewed to ensure data collection supports the analysis plan and conversion to electronic CRFs for online data entry. Design and hosting of database to securely store study data. Provide Data management plan and data dictionary. Design and hosting of bespoke secure eCRF and trial management systems including: Built-in query management system Bespoke online randomisation functionality Standard and custom reporting functionality Email alerts CRF tracking systems Online unblinding facilities. For smaller straightforward data-entry systems not requiring complex functionality, we also offer hosting and support for data capture systems using REDCap software. Full data entry support for trials. Data cleaning and data quality checking. Data query reporting for missing or invalid data. Management of study closedown and database lock phase Controlled access to study data and data sharing between project groups Data archiving - Long term storage and management of electronic and non-electronic study data.
