Outstanding contribution to asthma research

This award recognises an individual or team for an exceptional contribution to the field of applied asthma research. This award will recognise research which uses innovative methodologies, meaningful involvement of patients and the public, and has created real external impact.

Outstanding impact from the Postgraduate Platform

This award recognises a PhD or MD student, Early Career Researcher or person from the Postgraduate Platform leadership who has created exceptional impact in their research study or in the leadership within the Postgraduate Platform.

This award recognises an individual or team for implementing culture change to embed truly meaningful patient and public involvement (PPI) into applied asthma research. A successful candidate will ensure meaningful PPI is established and involved throughout the research cycle.

Directors’ special recognition award​​​​

This award recognises an individual or team which the Directors believe has had a powerful impact on the Centre’s work. A successful candidate will have carried out some exceptional activity which offers a positive contribution in line with the Centre’s vision and mission.

The Director chose to recognise two groups of people with particular roles in this award.
