Alfredo is EPIC's Project Co-Lead and is also a Senior Lecturer. I am a Researcher and Senior Lecturer in Pre-Clinical Epilepsy at the Institute of Neuroscience and Cardiovascular Research at the University of Edinburgh. My lab specialises on EEG and electrophysiological recordings in pre-clinical models of epilepsy.We have collaborated with Dr Javier Escudero for over 6 years developing advanced signal processing and artificial intelligence analysis for biomarkers for epilepsy and neurodevelopmental disorders. I have expertise in EEG devices and advance hardware for physiological recordings, and I will be working on this in EPIC to help develop an EEG device that is portable, comfortable, safe, and works well with babies.
