Bartlomiej is EPIC's Postdoctoral Research Associate. I am a Research Associate in the University of Edinburgh’s School of Engineering, working on the EPIC project. My research sits at the intersection of computational neuroscience, machine learning, and biomedical signal processing, with a focus on understanding brain dynamics from EEG recordings and developing data-driven tools for neurological disorders. I recently completed my PhD at the University of Edinburgh, where I developed computational models of seizure activity and brain-state dynamics. In EPIC, I analyse large-scale multicentre clinical EEG datasets and develop machine-learning and signal-processing methods for data quality control, artefact detection, feature extraction, and predictive modelling. My work is highly collaborative, bringing together expertise across engineering, neuroscience, and clinical practice to build robust approaches that can be validated on real-world data and ultimately deployed in healthcare settings.
