Laura is EPIC's Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement Co-Lead and Research Group Coordinator. I am a Psychologist and have been working in clinical research for over 20 years. I am passionate about working closely with patients and the public (what we call Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement or PPIE) to ensure that we research issues that are important to families and clinicians, carry out research in ways that are acceptable, and share our findings so that they can have an impact in people's lives.
