Why EPIC is involving clinicians

The EPIC team works closely with clinicians to ensure that the novel tool designed for EEG in the community can be used alongside clinical work and benefit clinical teams. This means involving healthcare professionals at every stage of the project.

There will be ongoing opportunities for healthcare professionals to get involved, and their insights will shape how the project evolves.  

We want the outcomes of the EPIC Project to be meaningful and practical for those navigating infantile spasms and for them to be seamlessly integrated into existing frameworks. By co-producing each element, we hope to ensure that what we create is both usable within existing workflows and responsive to the current unmet needs in diagnosing infantile spasms.
