Social impact from public health research Edinburgh Innovations is hosting a webinar facilitated by ‘Evidence to Impact’ for early career social science researchers who are interested in learning more about delivering social impact from their public health research. In this webinar you will be introduced to how social enterprise approaches can help you extend the efficiency and reach of your research increase your capacity to deliver societal (and economic) benefits devise research projects that enhance the potential for real-world, affordable and sustainable adoption -- The webinar will run for 1.5 hours, and offer current examples from academics illustrating how and where your public health research can be applied as a social enterprise or with external partners. Evidence to Impact is an academic-led social enterprise with many years’ experience of working with researchers to package and apply public health research to maximise its social impact. Fiona Dobbie is Senior Research Fellow, Deanery of Molecular, Genetic and Population Health Sciences at the Usher Institute. Fiona has a broad research portfolio stretching over two decades working across the public, private and voluntary sector as both a research commissioner and a researcher.
