Watch a recording of the eventUsher Institute Postgraduate e-Journal ClubOne of the ways we engage with our current and former students is through our e-journal club which is led by both staff and students. It was created as a way to participate in a collaborative education activity, focused on Evidence-Based Practice and critical appraisal of published research. The electronic Journal Club (eJC), involving postgraduate learners from a range of educational programmes, is set to further hone critical appraisal skills. Since most of our programmes include learners who are also healthcare professionals, we also see this development as an opportunity to support Evidence-Based Practice (EBP). In time, we hope to see further knowledge cascade to other practitioners at the forefront of healthcare service delivery. This is an opportunity for learners and staff to collaborate and engage in peer review of published articles and develop the critical skills needed for life long learning. The e-journal club is accessible when you become a student on our programme.
