The Resuscitation Research Group is led by Gareth Clegg. Their research covers cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR): the life saving process following a heart attack. Research in a Nutshell The Resuscitation Research Group at the University of Edinburgh is committed to research and innovation in order to drive improvement in clinical outcomes. They have a range of interests themed around optimising the chain of survival in out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. This group is the primary academic collaborator in the development and delivery of Scotland’s strategy for out-of-hospital cardiac arrest and is the home of the Save a Life for Scotland (SALFS) partnership. They are motivated by an aspiration to make a real-world impact, maintaining a short distance between their research and practical application.
