The Usher Building houses The University of Edinburgh’s Usher Institute with a community of partners from the public, private and third sectors - including small and medium-sized enterprises and health and care providers - working on the shared purpose of developing data-enabled solutions to benefit health and wellbeing.

Funders and design and construction team

The Usher Building has been funded by the Edinburgh and South East Scotland City Region Deal / The University of Edinburgh, with additional generous support from The Wellcome Foundation.

The architects were Hassell and principal contractor, McLaughlin and Harvey.
