Hani Salim has taken on the role of student representative 2021 for the RESPIRE Collaboration Image RESPIRE Student Representative, Hani Salim Congratulations to Hani Salim, based at Universiti Putra Malaysia, who has recently been appointed as Student Representative 2021 for RESPIRE. The role of our Student Representative Our current PhD students form a vibrant and active group, with 12 individuals based in various institutions across the four RESPIRE partner countries – Bangladesh, India, Malaysia and Pakistan. As Student Representative, Hani will play a key role in bringing together our cohort of PhD students. During her time as Student Representative, Hani will gain insight into the running of the Collaboration and will represent the student voice at Unit Management Committee meetings. As part of her PhD study, Hani is developing and piloting an ICT-based intervention for adult asthma with limited health literacy to improve asthma self-management.
