Platform stalls

RESPIRE's platforms address vital cross-cutting and global challenges that strengthen and amplify the relevance and impact of our research. The stall session on 31 July 2025 enabled delegates to discover how the Platforms connect disciplines, regions, and expertise to enhance your research and support collaboration, innovation, and influence beyond research.

Stall adverts have been preserved below.

Platform I: Stakeholder Engagement & Community Engagement and Involvement

Platform I supports RESPIRE partners to engage local communities and relevant stakeholders such that the research is prioritised to local needs, implemented using local knowledge and experiences, and the evidence is utilised in local health systems.

Visit the RESPIRE Platform I stall to meet our co-leads and stakeholder engagement champions and learn about their journeys, challenges and lessons on embedding community and stakeholder engagement into the research cycle and influencing the translation of evidence into practice. Our champions will showcase some of their engagement and communication materials co-developed with stakeholders including community members, healthcare professionals and policy makers.

Platform III: Open Science, Data & Methodologies

The Platform III  focuses on enhancing  open science (OS) practices, refining data management plans (DMPs), and fostering collaboration across seven LMIC partner countries by providing OS methodological support With an emphasis on context-sensitive, FAIR-aligned data sharing, the platform supports the development of secure and sustainable research ecosystems through co-created policies and frameworks.

Visit the Platform III stall to explore the frameworks, training reports, recent policy publications, and how the Platform continues to drive inclusive and responsible open science in respiratory health research.

Platform II: Capacity Building, Education & Training

Visit the RESPIRE Platform II Education and Capacity Building stall to learn how we are driving global efforts to strengthen skills, knowledge, and leadership in respiratory health. Our platform focuses on empowering researchers, healthcare professionals, and institutions through high-quality training programs, mentorship, and collaborative opportunities that create lasting impact.
