NEWS: Rutuja Patil selected for WomenLift Health Leadership Journey

Rutuja Patil is a Senior Scientist based at KEM Hospital Research Centre (KEMHRC) in Pune, India who completed a RESPIRE PhD in 2021.

Rutuja was recently selected to participate in the WomenLift Health’s 2024 India Leadership Journey, joining a cohort of 60 exceptional women leaders working in global and public health in India who come from various disciplines and organisations.WomenLift Health, supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, provides a yearlong experience which is designed to provide talented mid-career women leaders in health with a safe space to explore their authentic leadership through vulnerability and reflection, an inclusive and diverse network that fosters a strong sense of belonging, tools and strategies for enhancing their voice, presence, and influence – all the while being supported by a powerful group of peers, mentors, and coaches.

The RESPIRE team congratulates her on this significant achievement and looks forward to her contributions to the field of Women in Health leadership and Respiratory Health.
