Children's Art Competition in Sri Lanka

An art competition was organised in Sri Lanka to raise awareness of indoor air pollution and its health effects.

On 6 May 2026, RESPIRE's Sri Lanka team hosted an art competition for pediatric patients at Lady Ridgeway Hospital, Colombo - Sri Lanka's premier children’s hospital.

As part of this stakeholder engagement activity, the research team delivered an awareness-raising session for hospital staff, to draw attention to sources of indoor air pollution, and solutions to minimise impact on mothers, babies and young children.

Category 1: Artists aged less than 7 years
