Celebrating our student community This year, we had the pleasure of welcoming students — from past and present — into the Usher Building for the first time!Our on-campus Master of Public Health programme kicked off with a welcome event, where new students were able to collaborate in person in order to create a vibrant painting that represents their shared commitment to advancing public health. This dynamic programme equips students with a wide range of skills for tackling real-world health challenges through both practice and research.The Advanced Care Research Centre (ACRC) Academy welcomed new PhD students embarking on a journey through a taught year, followed by three years of research. “It was lovely to meet so many people of different backgrounds,” shared one new student, expressing excitement about the collaborative environment here at Usher.Our building also hosted a special group of former medical students celebrating their 50th graduation anniversary.
