Amal Bholah, graduate of online distance learning programme, MSc Global eHealth, wins award. British Council Mauritius - Study UK Alumni Awards MSc Global eHealth alumnus, Dr Amal Bholah, has been recognised for his entrepreneurship at the British Council Mauritius Study UK Alumni Awards. Dr. Amal Bholah is a medical doctor who is passionate about technology. He founded the Smart Health project which aims to make healthcare services more accessible, affordable and efficient. Amal's work has received various international recognition including being one of the Top 3 start-ups for the European Telemedicine Innovation Competition. Amal made his career jump from a clinician to an entrepreneur during his study at the University of Edinburgh. He acquired multi-disciplinary skills, leading a team focused on bringing innovative health technological solutions to complex health issues. Amal is aiming to transform healthcare institutions with technology to enhance the delivery of healthcare services.
