Congratulations to Professor John Norrie, Chair of MRC/NIHR EME Board, and Professor Linda Bauld, who takes over as co-Head of CPHS. John Norrie to chair MRC/NIHR EME Board Professor John Norrie has been appointed as Chair of the MRC/NIHR Efficacy and Mechanisms Evaluation (EME) Board. This is a very prestigious appointment that will see John seconded to EME part-time for 3 years from 1 August 2019. We are very pleased that Professor Linda Bauld, Bruce and John Usher Chair of Public Health, has accepted the invitation to serve alongside Professor David Weller as Co-Head of the Centre for Population Health Sciences, taking up position at the beginning of the new academic year on 1 August 2019.
