New Director of Knowledge Exchange and Research Impact

Dr Thanasis Tsanas becomes the Director of Knowledge Exchange and Research Impact at the Usher Institute

After an application and interview process on 7 September 2021 the Usher Institute Board has appointed Dr Thanasis Tsanas as the new Director of Knowledge Exchange and Research Impact for the Usher Institute, for a 3 year term. 

Thanasis will be working to support and develop Usher’s research in a variety of research related areas, including:

  • Developing and building on our impact culture in the Institute
  • Supporting impact activities and training for early career staff and students
  • Preparations for REF2028
  • Working with Heads of Centre, Directors of Research, Innovation and Education, Usher Academics, Researchers, Post-graduate research students, Professional Services and our partners to grow the impact profile of the institute.
