After an application and interview process on 7 September 2021 the Usher Institute Board has appointed Dr Thanasis Tsanas as the new Director of Knowledge Exchange and Research Impact for the Usher Institute, for a 3 year term.
Thanasis will be working to support and develop Usher’s research in a variety of research related areas, including:
- Developing and building on our impact culture in the Institute
- Supporting impact activities and training for early career staff and students
- Preparations for REF2028
- Working with Heads of Centre, Directors of Research, Innovation and Education, Usher Academics, Researchers, Post-graduate research students, Professional Services and our partners to grow the impact profile of the institute.
