The Academy of Medical Sciences has elected Professor Andrew Morris as its new President. Image Professor Andrew Morris, who was elected to the Academy of Medical Sciences in 2009, is recognised internationally as a leader in the field of informatics and non-communicable diseases. He has published more than 350 original papers and attracted more than £200 million in grant funding.Data leadershipAndrew was Director of the Usher Institute from 2015-2017. Since 2017, he has been the inaugural Director of Health Data Research UK (HDR UK).
