Emerging leaders from across the UK have been named as the newest members of the UK Young Academy. Nicola Boydell and Giulia De Togni from the Usher Institute have been named as new members of the UK Young Academy, an interdisciplinary network of early-career professionals and researchers working together to tackle pressing global and local challenges and promote lasting change. Their five-year membership begins on 01 April 2025. Nicola, a Lecturer in Social Science and Public Health, and Giulia, a Chancellor’s Fellow, bring expertise in the social dimensions of health and biomedicine. As UK Young Academy members, they will contribute to national and global discussions, shaping policy and innovation at the intersection of health, society and technology.
